The answer to the question; “Is there a difference between satin and eggshell finishes?” is-not much.
(that sentence was a real punctuation challenge and not sure I have it right)
Dulux says their satin is a bit shinier than their eggshell, which is more like an eggshell.
Eggshell is a good term for it and no need to be bird or reptile-specific as no shell I’ve seen varies much in degree of lustre.
There’s not much else happening in the world of paint this week so I’ll sign off rather than add filler to achieve the 300 hundred words the googlebot prefers.
So not much between satin and eggshell
